Forum Guidelines
Please read the following information so you can see the rules for Aquatic Passion Forums.
Basic rules are to be friendly, kind, and civil. For detailed rules, read below.
General rules:
-Posts that are obscene, vulgar, drug/crime related, sexually-explicit, hateful, threatening, insulting or in any way inflammatory are not allowed. We want to keep this a friendly and family forum.
-Do not post disturbing images or videos, unless you place a warning on the thread and contact a staff member to make sure it would be alright. What may appear normal to you maybe disturbing to another member. Examples of potentially disturbing images/videos are dead or bludgeoned humans OR animals, the killing of humans/animals, etc. Of course, pornographic images and the like are not allowed.
-A good debate is fine, but flame wars are not allowed what so ever. Keep conversations friendly.
-Do not post photos, articles, profiles, etc. that are not your own material, unless you give credit to the person who did the work and contact them for permission that you may post their work.
-Do not abuse or bash another member because you don't like him/her or you disagree with him/her. Contact an Administrator or Moderator and they will help you with the situation. Do not take things into your own hands.
-Spam is not allowed, neither is the promoting of commercial companies.
-You may post a link in your signature to a website, as long as that website is not innapropriate.
Controversial topic rules:
-Political talk is allowed, as long as it remains civil and no flame wars or bashing begins. You should respect the other person's opinion, even if you do not agree with it.
-Religous talk is mostly not allowed as this topic can get people offended very easily and upset. References like "God will help me" or "As the Bible says, treat your neighbour like you would want to be treated" are allowed however, as long as they do not go into specifics or are not phased in a argumentative manner. If you are unsure if something is appropriate or not to post, contact a staff member.
-Other controversial topics such as abortion, gay marriage, vegetarianism, hunting, etc. are allowed as long as the conversations about them remain civil. But do remember please, this is not the place where you post articles about why "pro-life" is better or about your hunting trip, for example.
If any of these rules are violated you will get warned, infracted, or banned depending on the severity of the violation.
If you have any concerns, comments, or would simply like to share your feelings about these rules then please feel free to contact an Administrator or Moderator on the forums about them.
NOTE: Please do NOT post concerning these rules in the Comments, Bugs, & Suggestions forum.
Our goal at Aquatic Passion Forums is to have a friendly and helpful forum, so please follow these simple rules so we can do just that.
Thanks,
~Staff Team
