Hey! My name is Alex, and I obviously love aquariums or I wouldn't be here.

I have been experimenting with smaller tank sizes up to 10 gallons for a while now and I feel I am ready for a step up in the tank size area.

I have zero experience with salt water fish. I lived in Key West, Florida most of my life, so no need to house them =P

I love having live plants and I love having all the intricacies and attention that a tank needs to be well maintained.

I am in college studying electrical engineering and I am also in flight training.

I hope to see everyone's comments on my next thread which will be on deciding what size tank I should move up to and any other help/advice you can give me for moving to a larger tank.

Thanks =)

Hello,
My name is Kelebek and I am hoping to buy a fish tank soon. I had fish tanks when I was younger but my mom used to take care of them and I need to learn how to do this now. Basically, what I want to find it is what kinds of exotic freshwater fish there are and what types anyone knows that are compatible. Any advice or tips on ph balance products to prepare the water. I am pretty much starting from scratch here so a run down of do's and dont's would be awesome. thanks in advance, K.
